And thanks for reading this short snippit.

On October 9th - 11th, I will be speaking to a diverse group of women in Jamaica, West Indies, sharing my story of being raped at 17. left pregnant, became homeless, lived on the train with my baby, then in an abandoned building, begged for quarters on the streets to feed my baby and buy her diapers. I will be sharing my journey from being homeless to becoming a doctor of health care administration, a professor, and assistant dean. I will testify of the possibility of finding one's dream within one's pain and hurt.

On October 9th - 11th, I will let women know . . . My Past Does Not Define Who I Am Today!

Your donation will assist with the expense of that travel which include an airline ticket, and room and board.
